On Sunday 21st June St Elizabeth’s Hospice transformed their annual event, Suffolk Remembers, into a Virtual Service. This special remembrance service was held to offer comfort to relatives and friends bereaved from Covid-19 and, for people in Suffolk to remember loved ones that they have lost at any time.

The candlelit remembrance was brought indoors this year to protect supporters, staff, and volunteers and a pre-recorded video from Ipswich Town Hall was released for everyone to watch. 280 people dedicated candles in memory of loved ones and the video showcased these dedications across the trademark large wooden letters. Kingsfleet Wealth once again proudly sponsored the letter “K”.

With pre-recordings from Pop Chorus, music by Martlesham Brass Band and readings from some of our nurses and doctors, the Service marked a poignant end to the Suffolk Day celebrations. Ipswich Town Hall was also lit up with the St Elizabeth Hospice logo; as featured in the East Anglian Daily Times:
