In the mid 70s a Chancellor of the Exchequer famously stated that inheritance tax was a voluntary tax.  If that is really the case then I suspect that you would volunteer not to pay it!  However, matters are not quite that straightforward and we are able to use our specialist knowledge of this area to assist you in planning your affairs in such a way as can best avoid or reduce the inheritance tax liability that will fall upon your intended beneficiaries.

We also work closely with new and existing Trustees to ensure that the requirements of the Trustee Act 2000 are always maintained and we can assist in preparing tax efficient investment strategies for Trustees and the resulting beneficiaries.
